K’Nex in Charge of Brio’s American Division

Brio, a major European toy manufacturer recently signed a deal with K’Nex to hand tem over all their American divisions. Since K’Nex is well established, they hope this deal will help Brio expand its market to the US.

Brio AB’s CEO, Thomas Brautigam:

“This agreement is in line with our aim of strengthening Brio’s position in the American market. Through K’Nex’s already established channels with American retailers, we will gain access to more stores than previously.”

The deal is expected to be very successful because Brio’s unique range of wooden toys, especially toy trains, is something that the US market desperately needs.

The managers hope that Brio’s popularity will rise back to where it was during the 90s, although practically there will no longer be any Brio Corp.
