PlayStation 2 price cut to $129 or even $99

With the recent launch of Xbox 360, Sony is now considering to reduce the price of its PS2 console.

Curently priced at $149, PlayStation 2 is the best sold console in history, being followed by far by its competitors Xbox and GameCube. Analists say that Sony could reduce the price to $129 or even to $99.

This move would help them focus on the new PlayStation 3, while still owning the market.
