Summer activities for children at SOSU
Southeastern Oklahoma State University is the place to shop for summer activities for children of all ages. Coordinator, Tonya Cunningham said, “Continuing Education offers summer activities for children who are interested in being crafty and creative, prefers writing stories or sharing their imagination, enjoy making science experiments or building new designs, or spends time loving animals. We feel we have something to offer to every child.
Parents, grandparents, aunts, and uncles, and any children who are relatives will have the opportunity to build on their scientific skills and interests through K’Nex ®, Funology of Science, or Robotics/Electronics.
Susan Hall will be leading children ages 7 – 12 through the different K’Nex® hands-on programs. Children will go home at the end of the week with a set of K’Nex® from the building experience of the week. K’Nex ® is a unique building experience requiring hands-on instruction, following directions, with explanations of scientific theories related to each topic. Children are welcome to attend one or more of the various K’Nex® programs.
